Viv qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and is on the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland and on the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland. He practises all over Ireland and divides his time between Belfast and Arklow. Viv graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1984 with an Honours Degree in Law and in 1985 joined MTB Solicitors, which is the sister firm of F. V. Harty & Co.

Viv has extensive experience in personal injury litigation* and commercial litigation in Ireland. He was also instructed in the leading Trust Law case W v. M [APUM] [2011] IEHC 217.

Viv is a recommended lawyer in the prestigious Legal 500 UK 2015 edition and also practises in Northern Ireland.
